A beautiful morning once you got past the midges.
The sun tries to break through a misty morning on Loch Arkaig.
I was checking out a new location rather late in the day when I saw the beginning of this sunset. Finding a side track I quickly set to capture this fabulous view. Returning in the dark I nearly went headlong into a ditch as I marvelled at the speed and agility of bats flying overhead.
A red light at roadworks made me dive into this often passed spot, everything covered in frost. For once I was glad of roadworks.
